Hi. I’m Steve Myers. My family and I have been serving these areas for eleven years. It has been a joy to live and work in the area.
My wife Kathe and I have been married for 23
years.
Upon graduation, I worked as an audio engineer at Ambassador Auditorium while Kathe worked as International Coordinator for the Plain Truth magazine.
We moved from Pasadena in 1987 to Stevens Point, WI where I worked for the University of Wisconsin and for a real estate investment company. (Before attending Ambassador I had graduated with a Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin)
I was hired into the ministry in Wisconsin and worked in the Wausau, WI Dells and Eagle River areas. Next we were transferred to New Orleans, Louisiana where we served the New Orleans and Raceland congregations for four years.
We now live near Rochester, Minnesota, famous for the Mayo Clinic, which is central to the four areas that we serve. Kathe works part time as an accountant which allows her to have the same schedule as our children.
We have three children. Paul is 18 years old and loves horses. James is 16 years old and is our resident football fan. Prisca is 14 years old and is our favorite gymnast.
We really enjoy doing things as a family: horseback riding, boating, camping, water and snow skiing. Kathe and I also volunteer at church camps in the summer when we're able to help out. Our family enjoys music and we love to sing and play. Kathe works with children's choirs and I enjoy directing choirs.
My brothers and I also enjoy producing
Christian Music.
